Mana Kai Honey Kaitaia College Year 9 visit

We were lucky enough to have a group of Year 9 students from Kaitaia College visit us last Friday to learn about the business.

We talk about the bees, our beekeeping practice, bee awareness before taking the students into the honey extraction factory to see how we process honey from the hive to the jar.

Can’t forget the honey tasting in the shop where the students get to taste our local honey.
